"Almost a Song Book", new event at  "100 Cage" - Teatro Maria Matos

"Almost a Song" (the duo by Joana Sá & Luís José Martins)  was preparing along with Portuguese Baritone Jorge Martins, a special concert/performance about "Song Books" and "Concert for piano" by Cage - "Almost a Song Book".

Music for the opening and final credits of Miguel Gomes' film "Tabu" composed and played by Joana Sá.

"Tabu" has been selected for the oficial competition at Berlinale, Berlin Film Festival
"Tabu" wins the international critics' prize at Berlinale, Berlin Film Festival
"Tabu" wins the Alfred Bauer Prize from the international jury of Berlinale. The Alferd Bauer Prize ( in memory of the festival founder) is given to a feature film that broadens the horizons of the art of filmmaking.

El Intruso 4th Annual Music Critics Poll 2011 is an Annual International Critics Poll on New Creative Music and selects Joana Sá on list for Newcomer Musician of 2011 (2nd place):

Rui Eduardo Paes - Joana Sá is considered by REP as one of the Portuguese musicians of the year 2011 and "through this looking glass" is included in the list of best Portuguese albums of the same year.
